RxDx TAKES ACTION TO HELP FIGHT COVID-19
RxDx Multispeciality Clinics was established in 2007 with a vision to be the first health post for communities living in and around Whitefield, the tech hub of Bengaluru. Our doctors and the medical care team function with the aim to make patients feel at home, when they visit our facilities. When Coronavirus Pandemic reached India, in early March, RxDx rose to the challenge to adapt itself to the new requirement and regime necessitated by the Wuhan Virus. This was replicated across all the branches of RxDx, namely, the headquarters at Whitefield and the peripheral branches in Bellandur, Kadugodi, Malleswaram and Siddapura, as well.

1. COVID CARE @ HOME
RxDx has initiated the remote consultation services for COVID positive patients with mild symptoms and no underlying disorders in 7, 11, and 15 days packages.
The service covers issuance of essential medical kit, remote consultations with physicians and specialists (nutrition, physiotherapy, counselling), remote vital monitoring by nurse, and contactless doorstep services at a discounted price (mask / gloves / sanitizers / medicine delivery, sample collection).

2. COVID TESTING – RT- PCR

- Walk in for the test if you have a prescription from your doctor stating you need one
- If you suspect infection but haven’t checked with a physician yet, our trained medical team assesses you thoroughly at the Fever Clinic to decide if you really need a test
3. FEVER CLINICS
• Completely isolated Fever Clinics have been set up with separate entry and exit points away from the main clinics
• Anybody walking in with flu-like symptoms or expressing concern of exposure / potential COVID-19 infection are rerouted to the Fever Clinics from the entrance
• Consultation / counselling is offered if deemed necessary after the screening
• Doctor recommends COVID confirmatory RT-PCR test if patient shows warning symptoms
• Any patient can opt for an online consultation through video calls with our specialists
• Anybody walking in with flu-like symptoms or expressing concern of exposure / potential COVID-19 infection are rerouted to the Fever Clinics from the entrance

Hygienic environment
Above 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizers are available at all entry points and reception desks for use of patients, visitors and staff.
Ask for a face mask at the reception if you have by chance misplaced your own or forgot to bring one
Physical distancing
To mandate physical distancing, Footprint Markers have been placed at WHO recommended distance, everywhere within the clinic, across all branches.
Every frequently touched surface is cleaned and disinfected at regular intervals
Other Measures
All medical, housekeeping, and canteen staff have been provided with appropriate personal protective equipment
We are preventing overcrowding by arranging remote working for most of our staff
Many of our doctors are teleconsulting to reduce in person visits for the time being, to minimize chances of exposure.
Our eligible caregivers have been given prophylaxis with HCQ in accordance with ICMR guidelines.

9. RxDx SUPPORTS RURAL BENGALURU IN THE CORONA FIGHT
RxDx medical team supports the Telemedicine centres of two eAarogyaKendra clinics established by AkzoNobel India Pvt Ltd in Begur and Kurubarahalli, Hoskote District of Bengaluru. RxDx has been running COVID screening for the foundation for patients reporting flu-like symptoms
RxDx team has assisted the Telerad Foundation, CSR initiative of the Telerad group of companies, in procuring, validating, and distributing PPE kits to the Taluk General Hospital, one of the COVID-19 hospitals designated by Karnataka Govt. The project was sponsored and supported by AkzoNobel India Pvt Ltd.
AkzoNobel had also partnered with Telerad Foundation to provide dry ration and hygiene supplies to one of the most vulnerable daily wage labourers i.e. decorative painters and their families in Bengaluru Urban and Rural districts. Most of them had been out of work for over a couple of months due to the pandemic.
Home Services Resumed
We have started doorstep vaccinations and resumed sample collection from home. Our physiotherapists are making home visits and we are planning to provide home care packages to COVID-19 suspects / positive patients in home isolation / quarantine.
RxDx pharmacies have been delivering medicines to residential complexes during the lockdown as a part of essential services and are continuing to do so.
